Karachi, December 13, 2022 – United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Reed Aeschliman, Sindh Education Secretary Ghulam Akbar Laghari and Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon inaugurated a new high school in Karachi, constructed through the U.S. Government-funded Sindh Basic Education Program (SBEP).

28th PSC

The Program Steering Committee (PSC) of the Sindh Basic Education Program (SBEP) held its 28th meeting on 3rd August 2022 at Program Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) to review the program's progress. The Chairman PSC Mr. Ghulam Akbar Leghari, Secretary of the School Education & Literacy Department, chaired the meeting. The Program Director SBEP Mr. Zain-Ul-Abideen-Ansari apprised the forum about the program's progress.

Visit of QSK

To review the construction progress and to expedite the pace of work in order to meet the timelines, PD SBEP Syed Attaullah Shah along with the PMIU team, and Consultant (M/s Halcrow, Pakistan) visited the under-construction schools in District Qambar-Shahdadkot and Jacobabad.

Syed Attaullah Shah Bukhari, Program Director SBEP, along with SBEP Engineer and Consultant M/s Halcrow visited the under-construction school sites of District Jacobabad and Kashmore. PD SBEP monitored & reviewed the progress of the work.
